The Coolers & Takeout Podcast w/ Alx
Coolers & Takeout started out of necessity at the beginning of the COVID Pandemic when Alx needed a way to perform music with every venue closed in Hawaii. As the year 2020 went on, Coolers & Takeout became more than just an outlet for music, it became a community of people from around the world who could get together once or twice a week to talk story and forget about the international chaos. There is never a script, or a setlist, and rarely a theme. We just want to sit down, relax, and talk story. And maybe play some music too. The Coolers & Takeout Podcast w/ Alx captures the laid-back/community feeling that the live stream captures each week. We want to know more about who everyone is and the journey they took to get to where they are. Too often we never hear about the stories buried deep in the archives. The C&T Podcast will capture these stories and more. Each guest will have their own unique experience, and because there is no script, there’s no telling where the podcast will take us!

CoñoCast
Mission and VisionAmplify (Inform and Entertain)Exemplify (Lead by Example)Identify (Relate to the Culture)IntroWe saved you a spot at the table to chat about the game, the fight, the debate...all over cafecito. Welcome to Coñocast, a show created by Daniel and Joatam as a platform to explore current events, sports, family, faith, and culture; all served with a generous helping of comedy.Daniel: BioYour host Daniel has always possessed the heart of a creator and artist. Creating content for Coñocast is the next step in a natural evolution for this Puerto Rican kid who grew up in Florida. Although life has taken Daniel to locations as diverse as Puerto Rico, Miami, Orlando, New Jersey, California, and Texas, he has always remained a consistent student of life, culture, and politics, and brings his broad experience base to each episode of Coñocast.Daniel’s most recent journey; however, has been a personal one. In 2017, weighing 483 pounds, Daniel made the commitment to a healthy lifestyle and has maintained consistent progress toward his goals. His focus on family has been the main motivation to keep him on the path to his current weight of 290 pounds: he strives to be the best husband he can be to his amazing wife, and he aspires to be a role model to his future children.Daniel will be the first one to tell you it’s never easy to stay motivated every day, but he has a life hack for you: find something you’re truly passionate about, and the motivation will follow. For Daniel, this passion is jiu jitsu. As a lifelong martial artist, Daniel has had a long-term relationship with the sport. As part of his weight-loss journey, Daniel reconnected with a mentor and rediscovered the unique camaraderie, real-world effectiveness, and hardcore cardio workout jiu jitsu has to offer. His recommitment to excellence in training is cyclical: to improve in jiu jitsu, Daniel finds he wants to push the boundaries of what he can do physically and psychologically - 100-squat challenge?? Bring it on!All this training and focus might make Daniel sound like a serious and somber guy. Nothing could be further from the truth. While he’s focused on his goals, any conversation with Daniel will include hearty laughs due to well-placed one-liners or biting commentary. Get to know Daniel and his co-host Joatam on the latest installment of Coñocast.Joatam: BioYour host Joatam is living his dream of creating content for Coñocast. As a Miami native of Cuban heritage, he is passionate about the movement to increase Latino culture education. Coñocast offers the perfect platform for Joa to explore topics ranging from news to sports to faith and family, all within the framework of a cultural perspective.Joa considers his faith to be the principal guiding strength in his life, and since 2013, he has prioritized his faith by living outside of his comfort zone. He lives by the tenet that when we value comfort, we seldom see God’s power working in our lives. Servitude takes precedence on Joa’s list of priorities, and he serves alongside his wife in church as a drummer for the worship team.Being groomed by a successful career in sales and logistics, along with displaying a love and enthusiastic knowledge of all things sports-related, make Joa the perfect host for Coñocast. To get a unique perspective on sports, politics, news, family, culture, and faith, give Joa and his co-host Daniel a listen on the latest installment of Coñocast.#conocast #culturaviva #imigrantmentality #puertorico #cuba #florida #texas #newyork #cali #podcast #latinpodcast #talk #conversation #love #cafesito #boxing #MMA #jiujitsu #coffee #hustle #passion #dream #latinoinflucer #igtv

Busy Philipps is Doing Her Best
It's me, your friend Busy Philipps! My creative partner Caissie St. Onge & I love making things that we believe people need & will love & we’ve had so many plans. We had plans to do a TV show that would shake up late night! And we think it kinda did! For six months. We adored our genius, scrappy creative team at “Busy Tonight” as much as we loved our audience, so when we broke the news that we’d been canceled, we vowed to get back up & make even bigger plans to invent a whole new way of doing things in the entertainment biz, to reunite our beautiful staff & change the game for everyone! An entertainment Utopia! And we were so close, then...the world changed. Now those plans are, at the very least, on hold. So, we've shifted gears, like everyone has had to, & with our friend, comedian & former “Busy Tonight” writer, Shantira Jackson, we're just doing our best, taking it slow & talking to fascinating friends about how *they* are doing *their* best. They’ll tell us all about those times in their lives when a setback actually led to the right thing. Maybe it was a job that didn't pan out, but opened the door to an even more perfect one, or maybe it's how they studied for years to do the thing they thought was their calling, only to fall into something else that felt like kismet. The thing is, we want to share those moments because right now EVERYBODY is having one of those moments. Maybe we'll all learn something life-changing or maybe we'll just have a conversation where we break down in tears, then laugh at ourselves for crying. Whatever happens, we can assure you, Busy Philipps is Doing Her Best!
