In this episode, Jane is interviewed by students at Whittier Elementary School in Boulder Colorado.  Jane talks about her early work with Chimpanzees and introduces them to Roots & Shoots a global movement of youth who are empowered to use their voice and actions to make compassionate decisions, influencing and leading change in their communities.  The students at Whittier have selected to research the Red Panda and are going to focus on how to protect this endangered animal and it's habitat.Find out more about Roots and Shoots: https://www.rootsandshoots.org/about-us/
