This week on What's On Your Table, the podcast gets a guest host! Feedfeed Food Editor Alexa Santos is on this week to spotlight black women in food and entertainment. She's speaking to Lani Halliday and Makho Ndlovu. Halliday is a Brooklyn-based food artist, baker, mom, founder and owner of Brutus Bakeshop, a gluten-free cake and pastry company. Ndlovu is an on-air host, entertainment correspondent, event host and social media influencer with regular appearances on the Wendy Williams show, Essence Now, People Now, BET International, and Amazon Live. The ladies talk all things food and entertainment, and how the guests are incorporating their cultures into their successful careers.

On this episode of What’s on Your Table, Julie is diving into Chinese-American culture and talking to Winston Chiu. Chiu is a New York City-based chef and entrepreneur. He's worked at top restaurants such as Betony and WD50, but spends much of his time focusing on philanthropy, community, and sustainability within the food space. Chiu co-founded Rethink Food, a nonprofit helping with food insecurity, and has also worked with the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Talde is currently the owner of the restaurant Goosefeather in Westchester, New York. In addition to owning and operating several successful restaurants over time, Dalde was also a three-time cheftestant on Bravo’s “Top Chef.” He also is regularly a guest judge on culinary shows on Bravo and the Food Network. Talde and Julie discusses his Filipino heritage, his favorite dishes, and how his roots have guided his career.

Jessica worked in restaurants for nearly 15 years between Louisiana, Florida, New York City and London. She attended the International Culinary Center in New York, is a certified sommelier and is a diploma candidate at the UK's Wine & Spirits Education Trust. She currently lives in Notting Hill, in London, with her English husband and 3 children.
