Sabrina Frederick Uncut - Talking resilience, SAS Australia, same sex relationships and BLM

Today we have the absolute powerhouse that is Sabrina Frederick joining us and we are so excited to bring you this episode!!

Sabrina is not only an elite athlete paving the way for women in AFL, but she is also keeping us glued to our screens as we watch the highly addictive yet controversial reality TV show that is SAS Australia.

Sabrina describes herself with the simple yet powerful statement 'I’m a Black woman in a same sex relationship working in a male dominated sport" and we talk about all of that.

We chat all things AFL, how Sabrina got into the sport, she tells us all about her fiance, how they met and who proposed to whom. Then the scene that divided the nation, the boxing match between Sabrina and Nick "honey badger' Cummins, we find out what really went down, along with some other SAS goss of course! Like who she would take into battle if she could only choose one person, and it may not be who you think!

Sabrina opens up and talks about her experiences and her thoughts on the Black Lives Matter movement and some of the issues she faced growing up.

All in all this was such a beautiful conversation and we can all learn a lot from the inspiration that is Sabrina Frederick.

You can follow Sabrina @sabzizzle

How do you like your eggs? Frozen or fertilised? TALKING FERTILITY

We are so excited about today’s episode Lifers!!

We have the ridiculously qualified and ridiculously lovely Dr Cheryl Phua in to chat all things fertility!!

Cheryl works at Genea - a world leading fertility clinic, and specialises in infertility and reproductive endocrinology (CREI), including female and male factor infertility, reproductive endocrinology, adolescent gynaecology, andrology and menopause management and is very active in the research department (whilst we were interviewing Cheryl she was also on call to deliver babies, so there’s not much this woman can’t do in the world of fertility!)

There is something for every age and stage of life in this episode as we talk IVF, egg freezing, costs, contraception, infertility, endometriosis, PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) and more. We learnt so much and we really think you will too. We want you to know that you are not alone no matter where you are in your journey and that help is not inaccessible!!

If you know someone who may benefit from this episode (let’s be real, we feel like all women can) send it their way and share us in your stories!! We love seeing that and this is an important one!

A big thank you to today’s sponsor @geneafertility - leading the way in fertility advances for 30 years!

They are helping us to get the fertility word out! If you need any help in any of the above or anything that we spoke out throughout the episode you can find out more by going to https://www.genea.com.au/fertility-collective/making-babies

We hope you get as much out of this as we did!

CALL OUT CULTURE & Bachelorette debrief with Elly and Becky

Happy LIFE UNCUT DAY lifers! We hope your week is off to a flying start!

We’ve got a big ep coming up today. We have our sister bachelorettes Elly and Beckie on and ask them the hard questions. We chat all things breakups and 'sort of' love declarations, find out where Elly’s love story is at and suss out if all the media speculation about Frazer chatting up other girls is true. Then we hear about Beckie’s heartbreak, how this devastating  breakup was delivered (spoiler- it’s not cool) and where it all went wrong.

But before that, we chat call-out culture.

Call out culture is a modern form of reprimanding on social media, after Laura shook things up on her own social media over the weekend - we thought we needed to unpack this.

Should we be doing it? And if so, how?

Thank you to today’s sponsor Tribe skincare. It’s not only Australian made and cruelty free, but it’s all natural and Vegan too. Go to www.tribeskincare.com.au and use code LIFEUNCUT for 10% off.
