Yes, we all know the importance of a well-balanced diet containing all food groups and macro-nutrients, however, given the hectic schedule of daily life it can be a challenge to have fresh food available every time you need it which is where supplements come in handy. Supplements are meant to add to a healthy diet, NOT replace it and choosing the right supplements for your needs can be a challenge, but when you find the ones that work for you, they can help you to optimize your health and well-being.  Doug Smith is an entrepreneur who recognized that many commercial supplements contained unnecessary fillers and saw the need for high quality supplements from healthier sources; as a result he started the company True Nutrition. As the paleo lifestyle has become more mainstream, Doug expanded his company to create Paleo Pro, to meet the needs of people following that lifestyle. Jess Cording is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), health coach and author of The Little Book of Game Changers: 50 Healthy Habits for Managing Stress and Anxiety, who helps clients identify holistic solutions to meet their nutritional needs.
